Teachers’ Day has always been special in India. Every year on 5 September, we honour the teachers who shape our lives and careers. But this year at Pravegaa Education, Teachers’ Day 2025 became even more memorable. It was full of emotion, success and warm bonds between students and faculty.

A Remarkable Start to Teachers’ Day
On the evening of 4 September 2025, great news arrived. The CSIR NET JRF results were out, and our own Vasanth secured AIR 5 in Physical Sciences!
Many other Pravegaa students also cleared the exam. Still, a top-five rank gave the whole Pravegaa family an extra reason to celebrate. So the mood was electric, and it set the perfect tone for the next day.

Morning at Pravegaa: A Class Before the Celebration
The day began as usual, with my lecture on spin and the Pauli spin matrices. For over 90 minutes, we went deep into the ideas and the maths. Once again, we enjoyed the beauty of quantum mechanics.

However, during a short break, the students made a special request. They wanted to stop the lecture early to get ready for the Teachers’ Day event.
I understood the feeling behind it, so I agreed. Some students rushed to decorate the classroom. Meanwhile, others joined Alok Sir and me in the Pravegaa lounge.
A Pause for Big Questions: Culture, Belief and Physics
While the work went on, a few students started a deep talk with us about India’s culture, religion and politics.
- Some asked, “Does God exist?”, and explored the ideas behind belief.
- Others asked why history and politics matter for physics students and researchers.
- As mentors, we shared our views. Above all, we guided them to think clearly, logically and with an open mind.
Their curiosity truly amazed us. It was a classroom without a board, where ideas flowed freely and learning went beyond textbooks.

The Teachers’ Day Celebration Begins
After an hour, the students invited Alok Sir, Kunal Sir and me to the classroom. We were left speechless.
- The room was full of balloons, ribbons and posters.
- As we walked in, the students greeted us with claps, cheers and smiles.
- Then came a cake-cutting, with warm wishes from both offline and online students.
To make the day even more special, the students gave us a Buddha statue. It stands for peace, wisdom and inner light.
Music, Laughter and Togetherness
Soon, the event became even more lively, as students took the stage:
- Some sang soulful songs.
- A few copied our teaching styles, and everyone laughed in good spirit.
- Alok Sir himself sang the classic “Hai Apna Dil To Awara”, and the room filled with melody.
Our online students also joined in on screen. Clearly, the bond between teacher and student goes beyond any classroom wall.
More Than Teaching: Building Relationships
At the heart of this day lies a simple truth. Teaching is not just about sharing facts. Instead, it is about:
- Knowing your students: their background, dreams and struggles.
- Building curiosity: pushing them to ask bigger, bolder questions.
- Creating a community: where students of all cultures and beliefs meet with respect.
We were amazed at how students from such different backgrounds ran the whole event with grace and care. Indeed, it showed us the strength of unity and a shared goal.
Closing Thoughts on Teachers’ Day 2025
This Teachers’ Day was more than a party. It reminded us of the special bond between students and teachers. It also showed the spirit of Pravegaa Education:
“Teaching is not just about explaining concepts. It is about inspiring, connecting and walking together on the journey of knowledge.”
With students like ours, who are curious, kind and determined, we teachers keep learning too. This sharing of ideas, values and dreams is what makes Pravegaa more than an institute. After all, it is a family.
